Who Knew?

Museums and local art galleries, ballet and opera, Broadway shows, classic and contemporary art – you’ll find a sophisticated and metropolitan environment in Kansas City.

According to the Arts Council of Metropolitan Kansas City, there are two big ‘finds” in KC:

• Accessibility. You won’t experience the hassle of getting somewhere, finding parking and making your way to the venue.
• Affordability. The cost of one ticket to the Met in New York will pay for an entire season in Kansas City for the same high caliber of talent and performances.

The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Kansas City, Mo opened in late 2011. This Kansas City icon will rival the Sydney Opera House and Disney Concert Hall for signature buildings worldwide.
