    A Kansas City tradition since 1899, features livestock shows, rodeo, concerts, and an annual parade capped off by the world largest barbeque contest.
  • Chateau Avalon
    A top ten theme hotel according to Go Magazine (AirTran Airways’ inflight magazine). Perfect for a romantic getaway or special occasion, guests can pick from 62 rooms featuring various themes from Jesse James to Roman Holiday.
  • College Basketball Experience
    Located in the Sprint Center, this 41,500 square-foot building features the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame.
  • Crayola Store
    Toys and art supplies are abundant in this 60,000-square-foot store. Interactive games and a crayon-making demonstration make this place a hit with the kids.
  • Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead
    A free Overland Park Parks and Recreation attraction. Allows kids to be around local farm animals while learning the history of Kansas and Missouri. Features a one-room country schoolhouse, horse-drawn wagon rides and pony rides. The Dairy Barn is a hands-on education center with interactive learning stations.
  • Harley Davidson Final Assembly Plant
    The assembly plant tour center features a series of displays that guide you through the various manufacturing and assembly processes of the Sportster®, Dyna and VRSC families of motorcycles.
  • Harry S. Truman Library and Museum
    This library is one of 12 U.S. Presidential Libraries. Its two permanent exhibits display the 33rd President's private life and political career.
  • Kaleidoscope
    Operated by Hallmark Cards, this creativity zone is a place for children ages 5-12 to unleash their inner artist. Each session lasts 55 minutes.
  • Kansas City Zoo
    At the Kansas City Zoo, you can travel the world without even leaving the gates. The Discovery Barn opened in summer 2006 and The Sprint IMAX Theatre with its six-story tall screen and 12,000 watts of digital sound makes everyone feel a part of the action.
  • Kansas Speedway
    This 1.5 mile tri-oval track seats almost 82,000 fans. The speedway hosts NASCAR, Indy Racing League, ACRA RE/MAX Series and USAC events.
  • Liberty Memorial & WWI Museum
    The National World War I Museum is the first and only American museum solely dedicated to preserving the objects, history and personal experiences of World War I.
  • Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
    The Nelson-Atkins opened in 1933 and its newest addition, the Block building, ranked No. 1 in Time Magazine's architectural marvels in 2007.
  • Power and Light District
    More than 450,000 square feet of restaurants, clubs, retail and office space in downtown Kansas City makes this the largest entertainment district in the Midwest.
  • The Springs
    Located in Kansas City’s Northland, features two water slides, a lazy river with a vortex, two splash playgrounds, a zero-depth entry pool with play features and an Olympic-sized 50-meter competitive pool.
  • Sprint Center
    Kansas City's new home for major concerts and sporting events was ranked No. 30 among the world's top 100 arena venues and No. 14 among the United States' areans by Pollstar Magazine.
  • Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun
    Enjoy one park at a time or go back and forth between land and water rides. Features the Patriot—the longest and tallest inverted roller coaster in the region. Worlds of Fun is open April to October, and Oceans of Fun is open May through September.
